Transcom Poland expands the financial services team

As a result of our employees’ customer experience expertise and heavy work, one of our clients, a leading bank in Poland has chosen to extend its cooperation with Transcom Worldwide Poland. Our financial services team will be broadened by 25 specialists focused on selling financial products.

When we started the cooperation with the bank in May last year the team consisted of eight outbound specialists, one year later we have 50 specialists working with this client.

We have identified two key success factors that contributed to the expansion of the project.

First, as the team delivered high quality and met the client’s targets from day one, our client trusted Transcom not only to sell their service to new prospects, but also to their current customers.

The second success factor is the great relationship we have with the bank, which allow us to become not only supplier but a true business partner.

New ways to get closer to our client

Over the past years, Transcom Isla Sicilia has been practicing an interesting and fun activity with our main client on a regular basis: each month we play sports!

The sports activities help us to strengthen relationships between the Transcom staff – including supervisors, coordinators, quality staff and agents- while facing their direct counterparts on the client end.

By playing sports, we find a different way to get closer to them, creating new, more informal communication channels, fostering not just a comfortable environment to talk about the match but also to tackle other more relevant subjects regarding our business relationship.

Although the participants’ professionalism will always take precedence, there is something about seeing each other in ‘shorts’ that always adds a plus to understanding each other’s point of view, creating a closer relation between both teams.

We will not give away the scores of these ‘encounters’ because we have always heard that what truly matters is to participate, but we can say that they have been satisfactory for both parties…

The true heart of the matter is how the promotion of sportsmanship and the improvement of human relationships can be achieved through sport.

An unforgettable reward for an outstanding performance

Each year, one of our main clients in the telecom sector organizes a motivation program called “Customer Champion”. In the latest program, supported by a well-known mobile phone brand support, they rewarded the best agents with an amazing trip.

“The Customer Champion” program represents the first time that our client brings together the customer care and sales departments’ agents under the same flag. The group was formed by in store vendors and contact centers’ staff, a big community sharing the same objectives and focusing in the final customer.

Enjoying the Caribbean Experience

In October 2013, our colleague, Roxana Borello, met 299 other participants from 20 countries in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) to enjoy a few days full of surprises, team working, and lots of activities. Roxana had an amazing experience, and she wants to thank Transcom and our client for its support and trust. In her own words, “it is a veritable pleasure to work in a company that values its employees and encourages the continuous improvement”

Roxana had the opportunity to visit a desert island, to sail a catamaran, attend to an award ceremony during a beach party, and have a look to the latest mobile phones models… A truly unforgettable experience!!!

Transcom Poland to become a new multi-language hub

In the last few years, Poland has become a promised land for many companies whose core business is based on knowledge and business processing operations. For those who have at least basic information on the country, this has come as no real surprise. Not only does Poland lie in the heart of Europe, close to key markets such as Germany and France, but it also offers access to highly educated and skilful employees. With its booming economy and policy of supporting foreign investors, Poland can proudly say that it is among the world’s most promising markets for the outsourcing industry.


With operations in Poland (Gdańsk and Olsztyn) for a decade now, Transcom Polska is more than happy to take an active part in this expansion. Through the years, we have grown by providing top-class customer care management, serving clients in the telecommunication, financial services, automotive and retail industries.


Our goal is to keep on growing by developing our multi-language skills. We believe that there is no better place than Gdańsk to do this. Being one of the most dynamic and open cities in Poland, it attracts businesses, professionals and students from around the world. Each year, over 27,000 students receive a bachelor’s degree, 90% of whom speak English, 40% German, about 14% Russian, nearly 10% French, over 6% Spanish and some 3% speak Italian. Moreover, almost two-thirds of all Nordic language graduates originate from the Gdańsk region, thus adding also Scandinavian linguistic skills to our portfolio.

This allows us to dynamically develop our language skills and secure top-class performance for clients requiring bilingual servicing by English-German and English-French speaking consultants. All of them are proven and certified proficient speakers with the ability to efficiently perform Inbound, Outbound and Back office activities.
